Locks and Keys

 

I recently heard a fantastic comment; a friend of mine gave her opinion about the double standards of guys having lots of sex vs. girls having lots sex. 

“Think of it like a master key. Everyone likes master keys, it can unlock everything. But a lock that can be unlocked by ANY key? That’s just a shitty lock.” – Kayla Lopez 

It’s amazing, because we do pretty much think in that twisted manner. A majority of people think men are keys and women are locks. With that logic, promiscuous dudes are just guys that walk around with these “keys”, and when it’s not in their pants, they’re just trying to stick it into things. And promiscuous girls have these locks that have no problem opening up to a number of keys.

This is close to the way a lot of people think; it’s messed up logic. It’s this archaic idea that a women’s sexuality is something that should be keep secure for one man, yet men should be out conquering women. I think we all know that logic makes no bloody sense. 

In closing, to all the keys and locks out there hooking up with randoms, stop. ‘Cause it’ll get rusty and worn, then it’ll stop working and you won’t be able to use it anymore.
